Virtual Medley Race
Performance and Recovery
Performance and Recovery is excited to announce its first Virtual Medley Race. The race consists of a 5k run, 10k run, half marathon run or the medley which includes all 3 races. Because of the current situation, we must offer these races virtually, but that way we can include people all over the world!
Date: Monday May 18th through Sunday May 24th (Finished)
5K: $30 (includes medal, shirt, and bib)
10K: $45 (includes medal, shirt, bib, and recovery lacross ball)
Half Marathon: $65 (includes medal, shirt, bib, recovery lacross ball and waterbottle)
Medley Race: $100 (consist of 5k, 10k, and half marathon) (includes 4 medals, shirt, bib, recovery lacross ball, and waterbottle)
Prizes: Each participate will get a medal, shirt and bib. The top male and female racer of each race will also receive a monetary prize tbd. We are also raising money for a charity that helps healthcare employees working during the covid pandemic. Half of the proceeds and any direct donations will go toward this charity.
How it works: Once you have registered for your race or races, start training. During the week of May 18th through May 24 you will go out on your own and run the directed distance of your race and will track your race either with your phone, app, or watch. Once you have finished your race, you will email your results to us so we can determine the winners for each race as well as the placing for all races. The results of the races will be posted here after the race has ended.
Charity: The charity that we will be donating half of our proceeds to is called "off their plate". It helps support local restaurants and healthcare workers. When we donate we are helping a restaurant employee to get back to work and in return they make free food and deliver it to our healthcare employees. Shirts: For Females we have razorback tank tops in females sizes and for the males we have T'shirts in males sizes. Make sure you check off which size you want while registering.
