I am a yoga teacher and ceramic artist originally from Los Angeles, California. I moved to Boston to begin work in the mental health field, caring for gender diverse young adults and their families at Boston Children's Hospital. While there, I became a Mindfulness Group Facilitator, allowing me to incorporate a meditative foundation for all of my classes. With a background in psychology. mental wellness is just as important as physical fitness.
Yoga has helped me to strengthen my own mind-body connection and shift my focus from how exercise made me look into an appreciation for all of the things my body can do, and all the ways it supports me. I hope to bring that same positive relationship between mind and body to each of my students.
I currently live in Boston, and when I'm not teaching yoga, you can find me in the pottery studio. I grew up in a large, active family and have always found connection through sports and fitness. In addition to yoga, I love long distance running, hiking, and playing basketball. I have the B.A.A. half marathon under my belt, and just like Sarah I dream of one day running the Boston Marathon!
