Sarah Apold

Sarah is the founder and owner of Performance and Recovery as well as a certified Exercise Physiologist. Sarah and her dog Remy have been training at Performance and Recovery for over 3 years now.

Prior to creating Performance and Recovery, Sarah has held many other jobs that have cultivated a very specific set of skills and experience that has allowed to make Performance and Recovery different than other gyms. Working in healthcare, fitness and the sports industry she is able to draw from many different avenues and help drive the fitness industry into what it should be.

Sarah has been living in Boston for over 10 years now, but is originally from Oakdale, MN. She came to the east coast for school and never left. When Sarah isn't at work, she enjoys spending as much time as she can with her dog Remy. They like to go on hikes, bike rides, swims and playing in the snow. When she has to be stuck inside she calls her self a grandma and likes to work on her knitting and sewing project.

Sarah also enjoys hanging out with friends and family and trying new restaurants and breweries. She loves to travel when she has the time especially in the New England area. Her favorite area is Portland, Maine.
