Kettlebell and Dumbbell Class

Full body, dynamic, and explosive class working on strength and endurance using kettelbell movements paired with body weight and dumbbells. Movements include squats, deadlifts, lunges, cleans, snatches, rows, pushups and shoulder press.

For this class you will need a pair of KB or DB and one medium-heavy KB. (If you do not have weights, you can make them out of any household objects. Get creative!)

All classes can be scaled for beginner to advanced athletes. This class is online only. We stream the class using zoom. The link will be sent to you once you have purchased a membership. Please have the app downloaded prior to the class and have your workout area set up by class time. Classes will be M,W,F at 12:30 pm

 

Bands and Bodyweight Class

Bands and Bodyweight is a minimal equipment class with a high rep scheme and low resistance bands or bodyweight. 

For this class you will need a circular resistance band and a long resistance band. Multiple resistances may be helpful.

All classes can be scaled for beginner to advanced athletes. This class is online only. We stream the class using zoom. The link will be sent to you once you have purchased a membership. Please have the app downloaded prior to the class and have your workout area set up by class time.Classes will be M,W,F at 4:30 pm

TRX/KB Class

Full body, dynamic, and explosive class working on strength and endurance using kettelbell movements paired with body weight TRX exercises. Movements include squats, deadlifts, lunges, cleans, snatches, rows, pushups and shoulder press.

TRX suspension allows our bodies to move in such unique ways and train in multiple planes of movement, creating a more functional movement pattern.

Kettelbells offer some same benefits in different ways. Teaching people how to move properly, while training angles and positions that are unfamiliar which makes for a more well balanced athlete. Kettlebell training teaches two primary foundation skills, the power of moving from the hips to spare the low back,  and the ability to lift overhead. These are two of the more simple yet powerful concepts in kettlebell training and provide a great foundation for Olympic lifting.

This class is where we can see the real benefit of integrating TRX Suspension Training with kettlebells. We can use specific exercises to teach important principles in regards to proper lifting technique and integrating the body more efficiently, to create a workout that increases efficiency, and reduces the risk of injury

All classes can be scaled for beginner to advanced athletes. Classes are semi-private small group classes capped at 4.

Strength and Conditioning

Strength and conditioning is a crossfit type class. The class is focused on high intensity, functional movements such as plyometrics, Olympic lifts, weightlifting and body weight exercises including burpees, jump rope and running.  Movements can be done with dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells, and medicine balls.

All classes can be scaled for beginner to advanced athletes. Classes are semi-private small group classes capped at 2

Bootcamp

Our bootcamp classes are indoors during the winter and outdoors during the summer. In the summer, we conduct the classes outside our office or across the street by the Charles River.

Bootcamp classes are usually done in a circuit using mostly bodyweight exercises such as burpess, pushups, lunges, squats, stairs, box jumps, jump ropes, battle ropes and medicine balls. This class will work on your conditioning and endurance while strengthening the core through full body exercises.

Bootcamp can be scaled for beginner to advanced athletes. The class is capped at 5 for indoor bootcamp and 15 for outdoor bootcamp.
